LED vs. Incandescent Holiday Lights
November 15, 2011

SAFETY:
LED bulbs are cool to touch, never gets hot
LED bulbs are housed in a high density plastic (shatterproof) vs. glass for the incandescent bulbs

ENERGY:
LED bulbs are 0.45 watts vs. the C9 incandescent are 7 watts
LED consumes 90% less energy than incandescent
LED cost more, but the $ will be recouped in electric bills

LIFE:
LED bulbs have a 15,000 hr life vs. a 700 hr  incandescent bulb life
C9 sockets can be used with LED or Incandescent bulbs

LOOK:
Our LED’s are different than the common ones in the market place because we use a 5 diode stacked bulb which allows the bulbs to shine bright the length of the bulb.  Our competitors use just one diode at the base.

End to End connection Info:
UL requirements up to 210 watts maximum for end to end connection
Volts x Current/Amps = Watts

120V x .08Amps = 9.6 Watts:  21 rolls of 50’ C9 LED = 201.6 watts = 1050 total feet
(9205287, 9205295, 9205303=$45.99) LED 50' C9 roll of lights avaialbel at Miller Industrial

                                vs.

120V x .7Amps = 44 Watts:  2 strings of 26’ C9 Incandescent = 168 watts = 52 total feet
(97421, 96802=$10.99)  Incandescent C9 Lights
